Frequently Asked Question

What is the difference between a Chiropodist and a Podiatrist?

In the UK Podiatry is simply the new name for Chiropody. The name was changed to Podiatry in 1993 and is now the internationally recognised name for a footcare specialist.

How can I be sure that I am getting treatment from a qualified Podiatrist?

Anyone who calls themselves a podiatrist or chiropodist must legally be registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). The HCPC is a regulatory body whose purpose is to protect the public and to ensure you are treated safely by qualified practitioner. You can easily confirm a Podiatrists HCPC registration via their website.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major methods of payment including cash, cheque, credit and debit cards.
